Launched for AWARE Week, the newly revised Project AWARE Specialty course provides information and encouragement to help individuals take responsibility for ocean health.

Building on Project AWARE's popular10 Tips for Divers to Protect the Ocean Planet, the revised course content is an introduction to Project AWARE® as a global movement for ocean protection and focuses on guiding participants towards personal commitments and actions they can take to help the environment.

This course provides the perfect tool to be a leader in your local community by using the course materials in schools, with the community, youth groups, and others. As a "fins off" course (meaning no dives required), participants need only to have an interest in the aquatic environment or a desire to take action for a clean and healthy ocean to enroll.
